These natural bumblebee jasper stones are graded as "AA" for having great color and with few surface blemishes including fracture lines. The colors range from orange, yellow, black, and white. Some may be partially translucent and exhibit florescence. While not a true jasper, it is actually a mixture of a variety of minerals associated with volcanic activity. This material is very rare to find and deposits have only been discovered in Indonesia. These stones are all polished by hand leading to a very smooth surface and a more rounded shape.
