Every wholesale application is reviewed carefully to ensure alignment with our sourcing standards and long-term mission. This allows us to:

Wholesale access is not guaranteed. We approve a limited number of applicants who are a true fit for this program.

How Wholesale Access Works

Submit a wholesale application with a few details about your business and goals.

2. Review
Every application is carefully reviewed. If approved, you’ll receive an invitation to join with a one-time, non-refundable $49 lifetime membership fee, which helps keep the program sustainable.

3. Order Wholesale
Wholesale pricing begins at a $300 minimum order. Most partners recoup the membership fee on their first order through wholesale savings, free US shipping, and eligibility for our bag buy-back program.

4. Grow Together
Approved partners gain access to small-batch inventory, limited releases, and ethically sourced stones that are well suited for mindful retail and creative use.

Special Note for Maryland-Based Businesses

To comply with state tax laws, businesses operating in Maryland are required to provide a valid Maryland Sales & Use Tax number on their application. This is necessary to activate your wholesale account and apply applicable tax exemptions. We may request a copy of your license if further verification is needed.

Wholesale Guidelines

  • We require a minimum of $300 USD for all wholesale orders.

  • We only require a sales tax license for those operating in the state of Maryland. For all other states and countries, submitting our wholesale application is the only step for account approval and purchasing privileges. Yet we are happy to assist start-ups and entrepreneurs in the beginning stages of their business. Please visit the website of the Department of Revenue or similar agency that administers sales tax licenses or business licenses in your state to ensure compliance with any local and state tax laws. They are generally free to apply for and many issue permits and licenses online within minutes.

  • Yes, you are welcome to order small quantities or individual pieces as samples, and we encourage you to test out products to ensure they meet your needs. However, orders primarily focused on sampling are generally not eligible for wholesale pricing. Wholesale pricing is reserved for orders emphasizing volume and bulk—typically 1-pound or 1-kilogram options—which represent the vast majority of wholesale purchases.

    Orders that include more than 10 items from our bulk categories (e.g., bulk tumbled stones and bulk raw stones & crystals) in small increments—defined as 1/8 pound, 1/4 pound, or individual pieces—are considered sampling or retail purchases. Due to the additional labor, time, and cost of eco-friendly packaging materials, these orders are ineligible for wholesale pricing and may be cancelled at our discretion.

    To ensure the best return on investment and profitability for your business, we strongly recommend selecting larger volume options, such as 1-pound or 1-kilogram quantities, to qualify for wholesale pricing and maximize cost efficiency—especially for international shipping. You are welcome to include small quantities or samples in your order, but please limit these to fewer than 10 total items.

  • To keep our wholesale program sustainable, only regularly priced items are eligible for wholesale discounts.

    Subscription boxes, perfectly imperfect items, and gift cards are reserved for retail purchases only.

  • To protect our wholesale supporters we only display retail pricing on this website.

  • All wholesale orders qualify for free shipping. Both our wholesale and retail clients follow the same shipping guidelines found here.

  • Some of our exclusive items come from artisanal sources that can only produce small quantities and priority of those items are given to established wholesale accounts. If you are after something you don’t see let us know and we will try our best to help. If you are seeking a large volume of a particular item that we do not have on hand we may require a deposit to secure the item from one of our trusted suppliers to arrive in a future shipment. Please contact us for a quote and a time frame of delivery. While we try to keep up with demand and have plentiful stock of all of our items, we generally do not offer back orders on items that are out of stock as products can vary considerably with each batch and may not always be the same as previous batches.

  • For personal purchases made in large volumes we can offer similar prices to the introductory wholesale level without the business sales tax license requirement. Many products offer significant price breaks as the quantity goes up. Additionally we often feature heavily discounted items that do not require wholesale registration to purchase.

  • We do not accept every wholesale application that is submitted. If your account has not been approved, please send us an email at info@beyondbohemian.com and we can assist you. The most common reasons for being denied access to our wholesale program are:

    • Missing information on your application

    • Non-payment of membership fee

    • We are unable to validate your business credentials

    • A sales tax license number was not submitted with the application (for Maryland applicants only)
