Shipping & Inventory Assistant (Rockville, MD)
Starting Pay: $20 per hour
Hours: 10–20 hours per week to start (flexible scheduling between 10 AM and 6 PM, Mon–Fri)
Location: Rockville, MD (in person only)

Beyond Bohemian is a small, ethical crystal business in Rockville. We ship retail and wholesale orders across the U.S. and we’re growing steadily. We’re looking for someone dependable who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and creating smooth systems.
This role starts with shipping and fulfillment. As we grow, there’s real potential to take on more responsibility and move into a larger role.
What You’ll Do
Pull and pack orders with care and accuracy
Receive and organize incoming shipments
Maintain a clean, well-organized workspace
Refill and label inventory
Prepare items for product photography
Occasionally assist with simple customer inquiries or pickups
What We’re Looking For
Reliable and punctual
Enjoys hands-on, organized work
Detail oriented and careful with fragile items
Works well independently once trained
Comfortable with a mix of standing and sitting work (about 70% standing / 30% sitting). Light to moderate lifting is typical, with occasional heavier lifting up to 55 lbs during shipment arrivals.

No crystal knowledge required. Interest is a plus and we’ll teach you.
Nice to Have
Experience with packing, inventory, shipping, or warehouse work

Sales Manager (Rockville, MD)
Starting Pay: $25–$30 per hour depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week (primarily 10 AM–6 PM, Mon–Fri, with some flexibility)
Location: Rockville, MD (in person, showroom/workspace)
Start Date: Immediately
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented operator who can take ownership of day-to-day operations and grow with us long term.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and carefully pack orders for shipping
Communicate with customers and producers
Assist and grow wholesale accounts; build new client relationships
Receive, unpack, and reconcile shipments
Keep inventory organized and accurate; maintain a clean, presentable showroom
Provide marketing support and content creation
Assist with product development
Support website updates and product listings
Streamline and improve daily workflows
Occasionally represent the business at local community events

Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

Evaluation step: The role begins with a 30-day evaluation period paid hourly at $25 per hour. This lets both of us confirm the workflow, communication, and day-to-day pace are a good fit. After 30 days, if the fit is strong and you’re taking on more operational ownership, the rate will be adjusted within the $25–$30 range based on performance and responsibility.
