This variety of blue kyanite is graded AA for having a vibrant blue color, moderate translucency and iridescence, and containing minimal surface deposits. Kyanite crystals from Brazil can be highly variable in clarity and some pieces may be included with quartz or more rarely garnet. 100% natural and never irradiated or color enhanced, this blue kyanite would be an attractive stone for decoration, crystal grids, jewelry-making, or to use in an arts and crafts project.
