These are A-grade Aquamarine raw crystals with Black Tourmaline from Kunene Region, Namibia, sold by the piece or by the pound. The pale blue beryl grows alongside black schorl tourmaline in the same pegmatite pockets. Each piece runs 0.50-1.25 inches at Mohs 7-7.5, fully natural and untreated. A favorite grounding stone for crystal grids.
Black tourmaline is dense, heavy for its size, and so dark it reads almost architectural. Run your fingernail along a good piece and you'll feel the vertical striations that tell you the crystal grew straight up out of the rock.
These raw pieces come from Kunene Region, Namibia.
Tourmaline derives from the Sinhalese word 'turmali.' Black tourmaline has been used as a protective talisman for centuries.
